Electroparts Limited - Training and Staff Development

Electroparts was formed in 1990 and, like most manufacturers, the business environment today is completely changed.

Electroparts has used training and staff development to embed change management principles into it's ethos, and is justly proud of it's performance and capabilities in this important area.

  • Controlled and monitored environment for new starters
    designed to embed high performance using the principles
    of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Well defined induction and basic training programme based
    around coaching for self management, self judgement,
    and confidence using dedicated trainers and mentors.
  • Regular one-to-one reviews and team reviews to identify
    weaknesses and constraints.
  • Open door company using information technology to create
    an informative and empowering environment.
  • Clear and visible company strategy statement, with
    individual and team goal structures and a defined audit
    system designed to create clear development road maps
    for all staff.

Carol Swallow - Managing Director
Over 30 years experience in manufacturing management. Introduced modern manufacturing techniques, including Lean, MRP, ISO9001:2000.
Open door management, staff skill development, empowerment and self-management are central to the company ethos and is applied at all levels. Modern technology is used extensively to provide staff with the infomation and means to perform at the highest level. Puts customer needs at the centre of business strategy, working hard to deliver better performance, in all business areas, year on year.
Close contact with customers is key to business success, providing a clear understanding of their needs. Customers are always able to talk directly to Carol, and she welcomes open feedback.
